Ours is a charitable trust working since 2008 in Alwar, Rajasthan India and also worked in Uttar Pradesh in India largely for promoting livelihoods, rain water harvesting, making private waste land cultivable (land development), system of root intensification (SRI) based agriculture cultivation, vegetable and horticulture promotion and also goat as livestock based livelihood promotion for the poor and disadvantageous families. Women Self Help Groups (SHG) provide base for implementing all activities. They are actively involve right from the planning, implementation, monitoring and finally making payments for work done. Women in SHGs meets every week and save mutually agreed amount may be Rs 20-50 each and pool it to advance credit loans to their members for meeting their small credit needs emergencies and also for initiating microenterprises. After certain age 6-12 months if the groups attain a specified quality then they are linked with banks for getting credit limits up to 10-15 time
