Established in 2010, BYS Joint Stock Company (BYS JSC) specializes in providing consultancy and implementation services for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions. Founded by experts in the field of Information Technology and ERP implementation with years of experience in Germany and Australia, coupled with technological support, training, and solution transfer from foreign ERP solution providers, BYS has been establishing and solidifying its name and position in ERP consultancy and implementation for Vietnamese enterprises.

GB: Tell us more about the development process of your business

BYS was established in 2009 from an order for the Zaha fashion retail store management solution in Australia. In 2010, the company was officially founded with 5 members who were experts in ERP consulting, finance, human resources, and supply chain management.

In 2012, BYS signed a consulting and implementation contract for ERP with Lam Viet Joint Stock Company, a furniture manufacturing company for the US and European markets, with the largest scale in Binh Duong province. This was BYS's first customer in the manufacturing sector and also the customer who accompanied BYS in completing the ERP WOOD for the wood and furniture industry. Afterwards, BYS continued to complete modules for interior retail and wood raw material production with two leading market-share customers, Chi Lai and Tavico.

In 2018-2019, BYS continued to develop its market share in the wood industry, expanding into interior construction with clients such as Vinmus, Interhouse, Thanh Vinh, and branching out into the plastic-packaging industry with contracts for plastic companies like Hiep Thanh, Ty Lien, Vinh Co, and A Chau.

In 2021, BYS completed a packaged ERP version for the wood and furniture industry, enhancing accessibility for small and medium-sized enterprises in terms of ERP and digital transformation. The product was successfully deployed and received positive feedback from several customers. This achievement is considered a significant milestone for BYS after over 10 years in the wood industry, laying the foundation for product development in other industries and serving as a highlight of BYS's future growth.

GB: What is the USP of your business? 

We are dedicated to building an ERP solution that truly meets the management needs of the majority of businesses both domestically and internationally. The notable features of BYS ERP compared to competitors in the same industry include inheriting an ERP platform developed over 30 years in Germany (the birthplace of global ERP solutions), advanced deployment methodologies, and an understanding of domestic businesses' culture and management practices. Additionally, BYS ERP offers reasonable prices that align with the investment budgets of Vietnamese enterprises.

With over 10 years of experience in the wood and furniture industry, we have in-depth knowledge of optimizing information management systems, operational processes in wood manufacturing and processing, project management, and risk management.

GB: What are some of your major business challenges? 

Business owners and managers have a limited understanding of the long-term importance and benefits of digital transformation, which leads to a lack of readiness in investing, implementing, and executing digital transformation strategies comprehensively and decisively.

Factors such as internal management capabilities, organizational structure, and processes within businesses are still not fully developed for comprehensive digital transformation. The capacity of personnel related to IT or the ability to integrate new technologies into the IT system still needs to be improved. The importance of data is not properly recognized, as only a small number of companies have separate management policies and apply data analytics in their operations.

GB: What is your big business dream?

BYS has set a goal to capture a 30% market share in digitalisation services for the wood and furniture industry and 10% for other industries (ERP and enterprise applications) by 2025.

Our objective is to become one of the leading digital transformation consultants and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) providers in Vietnam. We aim to be among the top 3 ERP implementation firms in the wood -furniture and plastic-packaging industries in Vietnam within the next 5 years.

If you know the path ahead with uncertainties somehow, only love and perseverance can lead you to the end. I don't care about the obstacles that may lie ahead on my path. I am focused on just doing well in the present moment. Just keep going. The more you go, the clearer your path becomes.
