1 out of 3 blind people in the world live in India, and Bihar shares a significant burden of this population. Akhand Jyoti Eye Hospital (Akhand Jyoti) aims to at least double its operational capacity so that it spearheads the efforts to make low income states (such as Bihar, Eastern UP, etc) blind free by 2022.
